Job summary

Neev is seeking a Senior SAP Controlling (CO) Consultant with 8–10+ years of IT experience and strong hands-on SAP CO in S/4HANA environments. The role involves leadership in requirement gathering, solution building, gap analysis, and coordinating with technical teams across SAP CO modules.

The candidate will drive blueprinting, unit and integration testing, and month-end closing cycles, while ensuring seamless cross-functional integration with FI, MM, SD, PP, and PM.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of IT experience specializing in SAP Controlling (CO).
• Excellent verbal and written communication; client-facing and training.
• Solid SAP S/4HANA knowledge; understanding ECC differences and Universal Journal.
• Hands-on in at least 2 full-cycle implementations or major projects from requirement gathering to Go-Live.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SAP CO implementations, roll-outs, and enhancements.
• Coordinate with FI, MM, SD, PP, PM; ensure BW/BI integration.
• Design blueprint, GAP analysis, and testing (Unit/Integration).
• Manage month-end closing tasks: WIP, variances, settlements.
• Coordinate interfaces and RFC connections with technical teams.

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior SAP Controlling (CO) Consultant with a strong track record of end-to-end implementations and business process re-engineering. The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise across core and advanced SAP CO modules, exceptional stakeholder communication skills, and hands‑on experience in SAP S/4HANA environments. You will lead requirement gathering, solution building, gap analysis, and month‑end closing cycles while coordinating closely with technical teams.

Mandatory Requirements & Core Skills

• Experience: 8–10+ years of cumulative IT experience specializing in SAP Controlling (CO).
• Communication: EXCELLENT verbal and written communication skills with proven ability in client-facing roles, blueprinting, and user training.
• SAP S/4HANA Knowledge: Solid understanding of SAP S/4HANA differences compared to ECC (e.g., Universal Journal integration, Material Ledger enhancements, CO-PA architecture).
• Project Lifecycle: Hands‑on participation in at least 2+ full-cycle implementations, roll‑outs, or major support/enhancement projects from requirement gathering to Go‑Live.

Key Responsibilities

• Core SAP CO Modules:
  • General Controlling, Cost Center Accounting (CO-OM-CCA), and Profit Center Accounting (EC-PCA).
  • Product Costing (CO-PC) covering Make-to-Stock (MTS) and Make-to-Order (MTO) scenarios.
  • Material Ledger (ML) and profitability analysis (CO-PA), including Report Painter, CO-PA Realignment, and Top-Down Distribution.
• Month-End Closing Excellence: Expert execution and troubleshooting of month-end closing tasks in CO, including Work in Process (WIP) calculation, Variance Analysis, and Order/Project Settlement.
• Specialized CO Scenarios:
  • Overhead management (Overhead keys, Overhead groups).
  • Advanced costing methods: Additive costing, Job costing, Batch costing, Mixed costing, Joint product, By-product, and Co-product costing.
  • Origin groups and Auxiliary Cost Component structures.
• Cross‑Functional Integration: Seamless integration of SAP CO with FI, MM, SD, PP, and PM modules, alongside integration with BW or BI.
• Project Delivery & Methodology:
  • Lead Business Process Re‑engineering (BPR), Solution Building, Blueprinting, and GAP Analysis.
  • Design and execute Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and prepare comprehensive user manuals and training documentation.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple assignments simultaneously to meet rigorous delivery schedules.
• Technical Coordination & Interfaces: Collaborate with technical teams for custom object development, and handle interface configurations including RFC connections and Background Job Tools.
