Job summary

Neev is seeking a Senior SAP Controlling (CO) Consultant to lead end-to-end CO implementations, roll-outs, and enhancements on SAP S/4HANA. You will drive requirement gathering, GAP analysis, blueprinting, testing, and user training with strong stakeholder communication.

The role requires 8–10+ years in SAP CO, hands-on project delivery, and cross-functional integration with FI/MM/SD/PP/PM. Hybrid work across PAN India is offered with focus on delivery excellence.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of cumulative IT experience specializing in SAP Controlling (CO).
• Excellent verbal and written communication with client-facing experience, blueprinting, and user training.
• Solid understanding of SAP S/4HANA differences vs ECC (Universal Journal, ML, CO-PA).
• Hands-on in at least 2 full-cycle implementations, roll-outs, or major support/enhancement projects.

Responsibilities

• Core SAP CO Modules: CO-OM-CCA, EC-PCA; CO-PC costing for MTS/MTO; ML and CO-PA incl. Report Painter and Top-Down Distribution.
• Month-End Closing: execute and troubleshoot CO close, WIP, Variance Analysis, and settlement.
• Specialized CO Scenarios: overhead management, additive/job/batch/joint/co-product costing, origin groups.
• Cross-Functional Integration: CO with FI/MM/SD/PP/PM; BW/BI interfaces.
• Project Delivery: lead BPR, blueprinting, GAP analysis; design/unit/integration testing; user manuals.
• Technical Coordination: collaborate on custom objects, RFCs, and background jobs.

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior SAP Controlling (CO) Consultant with a strong track record of end-to-end implementations and business process re-engineering. The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise across core and advanced SAP CO modules, exceptional stakeholder communication skills, and hands‑on experience in SAP S/4HANA environments. You will lead requirement gathering, solution building, gap analysis, and month‑end closing cycles while coordinating closely with technical teams.

Mandatory Requirements & Core Skills

• Experience: 8–10+ years of cumulative IT experience specializing in SAP Controlling (CO).
• Communication: EXCELLENT verbal and written communication skills with proven ability in client-facing roles, blueprinting, and user training.
• SAP S/4HANA Knowledge: Solid understanding of SAP S/4HANA differences compared to ECC (e.g., Universal Journal integration, Material Ledger enhancements, CO-PA architecture).
• Project Lifecycle: Hands‑on participation in at least 2+ full-cycle implementations, roll‑outs, or major support/enhancement projects from requirement gathering to Go‑Live.

Key Responsibilities

• Core SAP CO Modules:
  • General Controlling, Cost Center Accounting (CO-OM-CCA), and Profit Center Accounting (EC-PCA).
  • Product Costing (CO-PC) covering Make-to-Stock (MTS) and Make-to-Order (MTO) scenarios.
  • Material Ledger (ML) and profitability analysis (CO-PA), including Report Painter, CO-PA Realignment, and Top-Down Distribution.
• Month-End Closing Excellence: Expert execution and troubleshooting of month-end closing tasks in CO, including Work in Process (WIP) calculation, Variance Analysis, and Order/Project Settlement.
• Specialized CO Scenarios:
  • Overhead management (Overhead keys, Overhead groups).
  • Advanced costing methods: Additive costing, Job costing, Batch costing, Mixed costing, Joint product, By-product, and Co-product costing.
  • Origin groups and Auxiliary Cost Component structures.
• Cross‑Functional Integration: Seamless integration of SAP CO with FI, MM, SD, PP, and PM modules, alongside integration with BW or BI.
• Project Delivery & Methodology:
  • Lead Business Process Re‑engineering (BPR), Solution Building, Blueprinting, and GAP Analysis.
  • Design and execute Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and prepare comprehensive user manuals and training documentation.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple assignments simultaneously to meet rigorous delivery schedules.
• Technical Coordination & Interfaces: Collaborate with technical teams for custom object development, and handle interface configurations including RFC connections and Background Job Tools.
