Job summary

Dynpro is seeking an experienced SAP CO Consultant to lead the design, configuration and support of SAP Controlling modules. The role focuses on optimizing financial controlling processes and enabling data-driven decisions, with a strong emphasis on CO-PA, CO-PC, and CO-CCA implementations.

Ideal candidates bring 8–12 years of SAP CO experience, a solid grasp of cost accounting concepts, and exposure to full lifecycle implementations, preferably in S/4HANA.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8–12 years of SAP CO implementation and support experience.
• Strong grasp of financial accounting, cost accounting and controlling processes.
• Experience with full lifecycle SAP implementations, including S/4HANA is highly desirable.
• Expertise in CO modules: CCA, PCA, CO-IO, CO-PC, CO-PA, and CO-ML.

Responsibilities

Role & responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP CO Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, and support of SAP Controlling (CO) modules, playing a crucial role in optimizing our financial controlling processes and enabling data-driven decision-making.

As an SAP CO Consultant, you will leverage your expertise in management accounting to analyze business requirements, design effective CO solutions, and provide ongoing support and enhancements to ensure our clients achieve their financial management objectives. This role requires a strong understanding of both SAP CO functionalities and financial principles.

Describe the primary responsibilities/ accountabilities of the position:

Business Analysis & Solution Design:

• Gather and analyze complex business requirements related to financial controlling processes.
• Conduct detailed analyses of ongoing business processes and provide suitable system solutions.
• Design, configure, and implement SAP CO modules such as Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), Internal Orders (CO-IO), Product Costing (CO-PC), and Profitability Analysis (CO-PA), Material Ledger(CO-ML).
• Provide expert guidance on SAP ECC finance transformations, specifically focusing on CO modules.

Implementation & Configuration:

• Configure and customize SAP CO modules to meet client business requirements and best practices.
• Develop and execute test scenarios and plans to ensure solution effectiveness, accuracy, and reliability of SAP CO implementations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate CO modules with other SAP modules (e.g., FI, MM, SD, PP, PS) and non-SAP systems, ensuring seamless data flow and end-to-end financial processes.

Support & Training:

• Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and enhancements for SAP CO modules.
• Identify problems, develop, and execute plans to resolve software issues.
• Conduct user training and create comprehensive documentation on the use of SAP CO functionalities and workflows.

Project Leadership & Communication:

• Participate in project meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Act as a liaison between business functions and the technical team.
• Document customer business requirements, current processes, and proposed solutions.
• Mentor less experienced staff and contribute to team development.
• Ensure compliance with statutory reporting and audit requirements.

EXPERIENCE: ( The below are absolutely necessary)

. Essential:

• Minimum of 8-12 years of experience in SAP CO module implementation and support.
• Strong understanding of financial accounting principles, cost accounting, and controlling processes.
• Proven ability to analyze business requirements and design effective SAP CO solutions.
• Experience with full lifecycle SAP implementations, including design, configuration, testing, and go-live support, with at least one in S/4HANA highly desirable.
• Technical Expertise:
• In-depth knowledge of SAP Controlling (CO) modules, including:
• Cost Center Accounting (CCA)
• Profit Center Accounting (PCA)
• Internal Orders (IO)
• Product Costing (PC)
• Profitability Analysis (CO-PA)
• Management Accounting
• Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
• General understanding of the relationship among business, protection, technology and industry issues and characteristics.
• Sound understanding of application, security, integration and database architecture, and platforms
• Experience in industry standard automation tools including open source and enterprise options.
• Experience with design and implementation of test frameworks, test repositories and automation scripts
• Ability to multi task and collaborate with technical and non-technical staff
• Strong MS office tools and project management discipline

Desirable Technical Skills

• ABAP debugging skill
• Knowledge of specific industry processes.
• Experience with data migration, data validation, and process optimization within SAP FI/CO.
