Job summary

Siemens India invites an experienced SAP BTP Platform Expert to join our team across Pune and Bengaluru. You will lead the design and implementation of cloud-native applications on SAP BTP, focusing on CAP and Build Process Automation for scalable enterprise solutions.

You will mentor teams, translate business needs into technical solutions, and ensure security and performance standards. This role requires 7+ years in SAP development with 3+ years in BTP/CAP and strong API/DevOps skills.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in SAP development, with at least 3 years in SAP BTP and CAP.
• Proven expertise in CAP – Node.js, CDS modeling, and SAP Build Process Automation.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, OData, and OAuth2/JWT authentication.

Responsibilities

• Architect and design end-to-end SAP BTP solutions using CAP and SAP Build Process Automation.
• Lead development lifecycle of cloud-native applications with emphasis on modularity and scalability.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, consultants, and developers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Design and develop cloud-native apps using CAP, CDS modeling, and SAP HANA Cloud.
• Ensure security, compliance, and performance standards across BTP apps.
• Mentor teams on CAP, Node.js/Java, and BTP service integration.
• Stay updated with SAP BTP innovations and contribute to strategic roadmap.

We are looking for: SAP BTP Platform Expert

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior SAP BTP Development Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable, cloud-native applications on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). This role requires deep expertise in the SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) and SAP Build Process Automation, with a strong background in enterprise-grade application architecture, integration, and DevOps practices.

You’ll make an impact by:

• Architect and design end-to-end solutions using SAP BTP services, with a focus on SAP CAP and SAP Build Process Automation according to SAP best practices.
• Lead the development lifecycle of cloud-native applications, ensuring best practices in modularity, scalability, and maintainability.
• Act as trusted sparring partner with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and developers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Design and develop cloud-native applications using CAP (Node.js), CDS, and SAP HANA Cloud.
• Implement and optimize automated workflows using SAP Build Process Automation.
• Ensure security, compliance, and performance standards are met across all BTP applications.
• Mentor and guide development teams on CAP, Node.js/Java, CDS modeling, and BTP service integration.
• Stay current with SAP BTP innovations and contribute to the strategic roadmap for cloud development.

You’re excited to build on your existing expertise, including:

• 7+ years of experience in SAP development, with at least 3 years in SAP BTP and CAP.
• Proven expertise in:
• SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) – Node.js
• CDS (Core Data Services) modeling incl. SAP Fiori Elements
• SAP Build Process Automation
• SAP HANA Cloud, SAP Event Mesh, SAP Destination Service, SAP Authorization & Trust Management
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, OData, and OAuth2/JWT authentication.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps tools.
• Familiarity with SAP Fiori Elements, SAP UI5, and SAP Business Application Studio.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
• SAP BTP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Development Associate – SAP BTP Extension Developer).
• Experience with multi-tenant SaaS applications on BTP is a plus.
• Knowledge of SAP Integration Suite, SAP AI Core, or SAP Mobile Services is a plus.
• Agile/Scrum methodology experience
