Job summary

CloudKaptan Consultancy Services Private Limited in India is seeking an experienced Salesforce developer to own technical design and build of complex Salesforce features, from requirements to production. You will write clean, secure and well-tested code, mentor junior developers, and collaborate with architects, BAs, QA and client product owners in agile teams.

You will work on integrations with banking and payments systems, build Experience Cloud portals, deploy via CI/CD pipelines, and uphold

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on Salesforce development on Salesforce Platform, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud or Financial Services Cloud.
• Strong Apex: triggers, asynchronous Apex, design patterns, exception handling and test classes.
• Strong SOQL and SOSL, including query optimisation and large data volume considerations.
• Hands-on Experience Cloud (Communities) development: site setup, LWC on Experience Builder, sharing sets, guest user access.
• Salesforce security model: profiles, permission sets, OWD, sharing rules, CRUD/FLS.
• Record-triggered and screen Flows; judgement on Flow vs Apex.
• API integrations (REST, SOAP, Platform Events, Change Data Capture) and authentication (OAuth, Named Credentials).
• Salesforce DX, Git and CI/CD tools (Copado, Gearset or GitHub Actions).
• Good Communication Skills.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into technical designs, choosing declarative tools, Apex and LWC.
• Build and maintain Apex classes, triggers (with a trigger framework), batch, queueable and scheduled jobs, and LWC.
• Design and build integrations with core banking, credit bureau, payment and document systems via REST/SOAP APIs and Platform Events.
• Build and extend Experience Cloud portals for customers, brokers and partners, including sharing and guest user security.
• Write bulk-safe, governor-limit-aware code with unit tests (>=85% coverage with real assertions).
• Follow and enforce CK coding standards, exception handling, Flow, LWC and security standards via peer reviews.
• Own deployments through source control and CI/CD pipelines across sandboxes and production.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis and deliver permanent fixes.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers and contribute to estimates, sprint planning and technical docs.
• Engage directly with client teams in workshops, demos and stand-ups.

Job description

You will own the technical design and build of complex Salesforce features, from requirement to production. You will write clean, secure and well-tested code, lead by example on standards, and guide junior developers.

You will work in agile teams alongside architects, business analysts, QA and client product owners, often presenting solutions directly to client stakeholders.
