Job summary

Quarks Technosoft Pvt. Ltd. in Hyderabad is seeking a Salesforce Developer to design, build, test, deploy, and support scalable Salesforce solutions across Clouds such as Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, customize, test, deploy, and support Salesforce solutions across Clouds and CPQ as needed.
• Develop custom functionality using Apex classes, triggers, batch jobs, scheduled jobs, and Lightning Web Components.
• Build scalable, maintainable solutions following governor limits, security, and best practices.
• Partner with analysts, admins, architects, QA, product owners, and stakeholders to translate requirements into designs and delivery estimates.
• Design and maintain Salesforce data models, objects, fields, validation rules, page layouts, and dashboards.
• Design, build, and support integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, platform events, middleware, and secure patterns.
• Write and maintain Apex test classes, unit tests, and test data to enable reliable deployments and good code coverage.
• Participate in code reviews, design reviews, debugging, and production support activities to ensure quality.
• Support DevOps practices: source control, branching, PRs, build validation, deployment sequencing, and release governance.
• Collaborate with QA and business users during testing and UAT to validate functionality against acceptance criteria.
• Create technical documentation, including design notes, integration details, and deployment notes.
• Stay current on Salesforce releases, platform changes, and security requirements to improve maintainability.

As a Salesforce Developer, you will design,build, test, deploy, and support scalable Salesforce solutions that improvebusiness processes, data quality, automation, reporting, and system integrationacross the enterprise. This role partners closely with business analysts,administrators, architects, QA resources, product owners, and businessstakeholders to translate requirements into secure, maintainable technicalsolutions using Salesforce configuration, Apex, Lightning Web Components,integrations, and disciplined DevOps practices. You will be responsible fordelivering high-quality development work, following platform best practices,participating in code reviews, writing strong test coverage, supportingdeployments, and helping ensure Salesforce remains reliable, extensible, andaligned with business needs. The ideal candidate has hands-on Salesforcedevelopment experience, strong problem-solving skills, a solid understanding ofplatform limits and security, and experience of working in an Agile deliveryenvironment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, customize, test, deploy, andsupport Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, ExperienceCloud, Field Service, CPQ, or other Salesforce capabilities as needed.
• Develop custom functionality using Apex classes,triggers, batch jobs, scheduled jobs, queueable Apex, invocable Apex, LightningWeb Components, Aura components, Visualforce, and Salesforce automation toolswhere appropriate.
• Build scalable, maintainable solutions thatfollow Salesforce best practices for governor limits, transaction design, bulkprocessing, sharing and security, error handling, performance, and longtermsupportability.
• Partner with business analysts, product owners,administrators, architects, QA resources, and stakeholders to understandrequirements and translate them into technical designs, development tasks, anddelivery estimates.
• Design and maintain Salesforce data models,custom objects, fields, validation rules, record types, page layouts, flows,approval processes, permission sets, profiles, sharing rules, reports, anddashboards when required for solution delivery.
• Design, build, and support integrations betweenSalesforce and external systems using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, platform events,middleware, ETL tools, named credentials, connected apps, and secureauthentication patterns.
• Write and maintain Apex test classes, unittests, and test data patterns that support reliable deployments, strong codecoverage, and clear validation of expected business logic.
• Participate in code reviews, design reviews,defect triage, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and production supportactivities to maintain high development quality and platform reliability.
• Support Salesforce DevOps practices, includingsource control, branching, pull requests, build validation, deploymentsequencing, release readiness, change tracking, environment management, andCI/CD pipeline coordination.
• Collaborate with QA and business users duringtesting and UAT to investigate defects, validate fixes, clarify behavior, andensure delivered functionality meets acceptance criteria.
• Create and maintain technical documentation,including design notes, integration details, data flow diagrams, configurationdecisions, deployment notes, release impacts, and support handoff materials.
• Stay current on Salesforce releases, platformchanges, deprecated features, security requirements, and development bestpractices, and recommend improvements that strengthen platform quality andmaintainability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years of hands-on Salesforcedevelopment experience supporting enterprise CRM, field operations, serviceoperations, sales operations, or related business application environments.
• Strong experience designing, developing,testing, deploying, and supporting custom Salesforce solutions using Apex,Lightning Web Components, Salesforce configuration, integrations, and DevOpspractices.
• Experience working in Agile delivery teams withbusiness analysts, product owners, administrators, architects, QA resources,project managers, and business stakeholders.
• Experienceworking with distributed or remote teams, including collaboration withU.S.based stakeholders, offshore delivery resources, and cross-functionalbusiness partners.
• Strong hands-on experience with Apex, triggers,classes, batch Apex, scheduled Apex, queueable Apex, test classes, SOQL, SOSL,Lightning Web Components, Aura components, Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce security anddata access concepts, including profiles, permission sets, permission setgroups, roles, sharing rules, organization-wide defaults, field-level security,record types, and object permissions.
• Experience with Salesforce automation andconfiguration, including flows, validation rules, approval processes, custommetadata, custom settings, objects, fields, page layouts, dynamic forms,reports, and dashboards.
• Experience designing and supporting integrationsusing REST, SOAP, platform events, middleware, ETL tools, connected apps, namedcredentials, OAuth, external services, and secure API patterns.
• Experience with Salesforce DevOps tools andpractices such as Azure DevOps, Git, Salesforce DX, DevOps Center, Copado,Gearset, Flosum, change sets, CI/CD pipelines, pull requests, branchingstrategies, deployment validation, and release governance.
• Ability to troubleshoot production issues,analyze debug logs, resolve defects, optimize automation and Apex performance,support data fixes, and identify root causes across Salesforce and integratedsystems.
• Familiarity with Salesforce release cycles,platform limits, governor limits, integration limits, managed packages, sandboxmanagement, metadata deployments, and application lifecycle management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, Excel,PowerPoint, Word, Azure DevOps, Jira, Lucidchart, Visio, or similar tools forcollaboration, documentation, sprint delivery, and technical communication.
