Job summary

OSBIndia Private Ltd. in Bengaluru is seeking a risk analytics professional to own regular and ad hoc risk analyses across multiple risk domains.

You will build analytics, dashboards, and management information to inform decisions and identify emerging risks while supporting AI governance initiatives. Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in financial services risk roles, strong Python and Excel skills, and the ability to present insights to senior management using PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience owning and delivering regular and ad hoc risk analysis.
• Experience using Python and data analytics tools; exposure to AI tools is advantageous.
• Experience using SAS and/or SQL is desirable but not essential.
• Advanced Excel user (VLOOKUPs, VBA, Power Query) essential.
• Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint for senior management presentations.
• 3+ years' experience in risk-related roles within banking/financial services is desirable.

Job description

1. Core Responsibilities

• Ad hoc risk analysis (supporting all risk types i.e. credit, market and liquidity, operational and conduct risk).
• Thematic risk-specific deep dive reviews and controls testing across business risk functions as required.
• Support the development of risk analytics, dashboards and management information to enhance risk insight and decision making.
• Identify emerging trends, risks and opportunities through data analysis and analytical reviews.
• Support the responsible use of AI and advanced analytics within Risk, including adherence to AI governance and model governance requirements.
• As nominated Risk Champion for your function, work alongside the Risk function in developing and maintaining a risk management agenda, acting both to ensure the necessary levels of transparency for potential risks and promoting a positive culture of awareness and accountability throughout your function.
• Maintain the company's compliance standards and ensure timely completion of all mandatory online training modules and attestations.

2. Experience Requirements

• 3+ years' experience of owning and delivering regular and ad hoc risk analysis, with a strong analytical or decision science background.
• Experience of using Python and data analytics tools; exposure to AI tools and AI-assisted analytics would be advantageous.
• Experience using SAS and/or SQL is desirable but not essential.
• Advanced Excel user (i.e. proficient with VLOOKUPs, VBA, Power Query and other advanced Excel functionality) essential.
• Proficient user of Microsoft PowerPoint, creating presentations for senior management and committees.
• 3+ years' experience of undertaking a risk-related role within a banking, lending or financial services organisation is desirable.

3. Knowledge Requirements

• Knowledge of risk management within the banking / financial services sector.
• Understanding of data analytics, data governance and risk reporting practices.
• Awareness of AI governance, model governance and responsible AI principles would be advantageous.

4. Required Qualifications/Certifications

• A university degree in a quantitative field (i.e. Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Data Science or similar discipline) is essential.

5. Responsibilities re Information Security Management System (as per ISO 27001 Certification Requirements)

• Ensure strict adherence to companys security policies and procedures (for ex: Password policy, clear screen and clear desk policy, etc.)
• Take ownership of all the assets/information assigned and secure it in compliance with ISO 27001 standard implemented in the company.
• Co-operate and co-ordinate for the internal audits conducted in the company (complying to ISO 27001 standard).
• Report to the Incident Response Manager, any incidents you come across in the office with regard to Security threats like threats to physical asset & stored information or any risks detrimental to the Security Policies of the company, etc.,.
