Job summary

SFO Technologies in Bengaluru, India is seeking an experienced engineer to design and develop RF coils and antennas for MRI applications. You will participate in all stages of new product development from concept to mass production, and set up coil testing benches for validation.

The role requires hands-on hardware experience in electrical circuits, deep knowledge of RF/microwave design, and proficiency with EM simulation tools, plus familiarity with MRI system operation and RF testing equipment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in MRI fundamentals and RF coil design
• Expertise in RF, antenna, and microwave circuit design (pre-amplifier, balun, detune, receiver)
• Experience with EM simulation tools and MRI system operation

Job description

• Designing and developing RF coils circuit and antenna development for MRI application

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors or Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or equivalent technical degree
• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience in Magnetic Resonance Imaging fundamentals, RF coil design, resonant circuit design and electromagnetics
• Hands on hardware experience on electrical circuits and components
• Experience and knowledge in RF, Antenna, Microwave circuit design involving pre-amplifier, balun, detune, receiver.
• Good knowledge of full product cycle from concept to mass production.
• Familiar with RF test equipment e.g. Network Analyzer, etc.
• Experience and knowledge of EM simulation tools.
• Experience with MRI system operation
