Job summary

Orcapod Consulting Services in Pune, India is seeking a senior design engineer with 6-10 years of experience in system and subsystem design for medical devices, including RF coil development.

Candidates will work hands-on with eCAD tools like Altium and Mentor Graphics, apply Six Sigma, DFMEA, DfM/DFc/DfR, document schematics and PCB layouts, and collaborate across supply chain, quality, regulatory, and service teams.

• Should have experience with eCAD tools like Altium, Mentor Graphics,etc.
• Strong knowledge of RF electronics, product development, sustenance, and regulatory compliance.
• Hands‑on expertise with Six Sigma tools, risk management, and DFMEA.
• Proficient in DfM, DfC (Cost), and DfR (Reliability) practices.
• Experience with design documentation (schematics, PCB layouts, test data, FMEAs).
• Skilled in system/subsystem testing, troubleshooting, and engineering problem-solving.
• Effective communicator with experience presenting updates to management.
• Collaborative team player across supply chain, procurement, quality, regulatory, service, and marketing.
• Familiarity with localization and supplier development is an additional advantage
