Responsibilities

• Provide quality clinical care to patients
• Practice evidence-based medicine with focus on investigations, treatment details, and drug procurement while considering patient history and allergies
• Ensure emergency preparedness and prompt response during treatment, procedures, and investigations
• Provide timely attention and intervention for any queries or requirements from IP patients
• Ensure IP rounds are conducted and patients are attended to empathetically
• Comply with patient protocols across OP-IP/OT/Diagnostics/ICU/Triage and document patient files, prescriptions, and requisitions legibly and completely
• Ensure MLC notification, documentation, and statutory compliance
• Document at discharge time and complete all OP & IP records accurately
• Ensure availability and good-working condition of life-saving drugs and equipment in coordination with BME and report any delays in response
• Maintain proper bio-medical waste management and follow infection control protocols
• Follow ethical medical practice and maintain clear, prompt communication with admitting and referral consultants
• Be well-groomed, punctual, and adhere to company policies and practices
• Familiarize with IMS and NABH systems and disaster management programme (DMP) of the hospital

Job description

• To Provide Quality clinical Care to Patients
• To practice evidence based medicine awareness regarding patient {Investigation- (profile/reports/plan) {Treatment- (details/drug procurement)} {Drug Allergies/ patient history}
• To ensure Emergency Preparedness & Response Treatment/ Procedure/ Investigations)
• To ensure timely attention and intervention for any query or requirement from the IP patient.
• To ensure that the IP rounds are duly done and the patients are attended to empathetically.
• To comply with patient protocols (OP-IP/OT/ Diagnostics/ ICU/ Triage) & document patient File/ Prescriptions/requisitions (legible/ complete)
• To ensure MLC notification / documentation and statutory compliance.
• To ensure Documentation at the time of Discharge
• To complete all OP & IP records on time with accuracy.
• To ensure availability/ good-working condition of the Life saving Drugs and Equipment (In conjunction with BME and report delayed response).
• To ensure proper Bio Medical Waste Management & follow Infection Control protocols
• To follow ethical Medical practice and to ensure clear and prompt communication with the Admitting as well as Referral Consultants.
• To be well groomed, punctual & adhere to company policies and practices.
• To have complete orientation of IMS and NABH system.
• To have complete Awareness about Disaster Management Programme (DMP) of the hospital.
