• MSc/PhD in Analytical Chemistry or related field with 4–5 years in analytical labs.
• Experience in analytical method development, validation, and quality systems.

• Ability to coordinate with external institutions and lead teams.

Responsabilidades

• Independently develop, optimize, and validate analytical methods for agricultural inputs and related products.

Agri Biochem Research Lab (ABRL) is seeking a technically competent, detail-oriented, and research-driven professional with experience in analytical research, method development, laboratory operations, and scientific problem-solving.

The candidate should possess strong technical judgment, the ability to independently investigate complex analytical challenges, and the leadership skills required to coordinate research activities, guide laboratory personnel, and collaborate with external research institutions.

Role & responsibilities

1. Analytical Research & Method Development

• Independently develop, optimize, and validate analytical methods for agricultural inputs, fertilizers, biostimulants, biofertilizers, and related products.
• Conduct scientific literature reviews, design experiments, interpret analytical results, and develop practical testing methodologies.
• Apply conventional analytical techniques, including volumetric and gravimetric analysis.
• Support chemical and biotechnology-related research, formulation development, optimization, and stability studies.

2. Advanced Analytical Instrumentation

• Hands-on experience with analytical instruments such as HPLC, GC, ICP-MS/OES, UV-Visible Spectrophotometer, AAS, and related laboratory equipment.
• Oversee instrument calibration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance verification.
• Ensure accuracy, reproducibility, and reliability of analytical results.

3. Root-Cause Analysis & Technical Problem-Solving

• Independently investigate analytical deviations, unexpected results, non-conformities, and technical failures.
• Identify root causes through systematic investigation, experimental verification, and scientific reasoning.
• Recommend and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Demonstrate sound technical judgment in resolving complex analytical and research-related challenges.

4. Quality Management & Technical Accuracy

• Working knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025:2017, including method validation, laboratory documentation, quality assurance, and data integrity.
• Review analytical results, calculations, reports, SOPs, and technical documentation before final approval.
• Maintain exceptional attention to detail to identify discrepancies, calculation errors, procedural deviations, and inconsistencies that could lead to incorrect conclusions or significant operational or commercial consequences.
• Ensure completeness, accuracy, traceability, and reliability of laboratory records and technical reports.

5. Research Coordination & External Collaboration

• Coordinate with universities, government laboratories, research institutes, and other external scientific organizations for specialized studies and advanced analytical requirements.
• Communicate technical requirements, prepare study protocols, coordinate sample submissions, and follow up on research assignments.
• Review and interpret findings received from external institutions and ensure their scientific relevance and reliability.
• Maintain effective professional communication with researchers, technical experts, and institutional stakeholders.

6. Team Leadership & Laboratory Operations

• Guide, supervise, and train junior analysts, researchers, and laboratory associates.
• Review team assignments and ensure timely completion without compromising technical accuracy.
• Identify training requirements and support continuous technical skill development.
• Demonstrate ownership, accountability, effective multitasking, and the ability to work independently under challenging circumstances.

Preferred candidate profile

• M.Sc. / Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Biotechnology or a related scientific discipline.
• 4-5 years of relevant experience in an analytical laboratory, research laboratory, or analytical development laboratory (ADL).
• Exposure to agricultural inputs, agrochemicals, fertilizers, biostimulants, biofertilizers, or biotechnology-based products.
• Experience in analytical method development, validation, technical investigations, and laboratory quality systems.
• Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and experience in an accredited laboratory will be preferred.
• Strong scientific reasoning, root-cause analysis, technical documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate independently with external research institutions and technical agencies.
• Exceptional attention to detail, technical accuracy, and accountability in reviewing and approving laboratory work.
