Job summary

Piramal Pharma Limited is seeking a Senior Research Associate to support analytical development and testing in the PDG synthetic group. You will operate HPLC and GC instruments, contribute to method development and validations, and coordinate with QA on method transfer and investigations.

The role requires hands-on experience with Empower Wet analysis, GLP practices, and compliance with 21 CFR part-11. You will maintain laboratory journals, calibrate instruments, and ensure safe, well-documented

Qualifications

• Good knowledge and participation in analytical work.
• Experience in method development and validations.
• Experience operating HPLC & GC instruments.
• Analytical testing support to PDG synthetic group.
• Coordinate with QA on method transfer, CCF and investigations.
• Experience handling HPLC, GC, Potentiometer, Polarimeter.
• API stability knowledge.
• Awareness of GLP and 21 CFR part-11.
• Maintain the lab area and temperature control.
• Instrument calibration per master schedule and SOPs.
• Safety and environmental compliance.
• Maintain reagents and standard solutions as schedule.
• Maintain laboratory journals and instrument logs.

Responsibilities

• Operate HPLC and GC instruments with Empower Wet analysis experience.
• Perform method development and validations for analytical methods.
• Provide analytical testing support to the PDG synthetic group.
• Coordinate with QA on method transfer, CCF and investigations.
• Calibrate instruments according to master calibration schedule and SOPs.
• Ensure compliance with GLP practices and 21 CFR part-11.
• Maintain clean lab area and controlled temperatures.
• Observe safety and environmental requirements and act accordingly.
• Maintain reagents and standardize volumetric solutions as per schedule.
• Keep laboratory journals and instrument log books up to date.
• Ensure proper hazardous waste handling and chemical management.
