Job summary

Keysight DES EDA is seeking passionate software engineers to develop high-quality, scalable software products used by customers worldwide. You will work on cross‑platform development with Windows and Linux, applying AI-assisted tools to accelerate design, testing, and automation.

You will contribute to architecture, performance optimization, and integration of AI-driven workflows across the software development lifecycle. Strong C++, Python, and GUI experience are essential.

Qualifications

Qualification: B.E./M.E./Ph.D. in Computer Science or related field

Required Skills

• Strong programming skills in C++ (Modern C++ preferred).
• Good understanding of Object-Oriented Design, Design Patterns, and Software Engineering principles.
• Experience with Qt, GUI development, and cross-platform programming.
• Proficiency in Python, Perl, or Shell scripting.
• Familiarity with Git, CMake, Jenkins, JIRA, and CI/CD practices.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Understanding software security, testing, and code quality practices.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Experience using AI-assisted software development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor) for coding, testing, debugging, and documentation.
• Understanding of AI/LLM concepts, prompt engineering, agentic workflows, and integrating AI services through APIs and SDKs.
• Ability to identify and implement automation opportunities using AI tools and intelligent agents across the software development lifecycle.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of parallel computing, distributed systems, or cloud technologies.
• Exposure to EDA tools and semiconductor design workflows.
• Experience with performance optimization and large-scale software systems.
• Knowledge of Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and enterprise AI adoption best practices.
