Responsibilities
- Validate and qualify KeySight EDA tools like ADS in terms functionality, usability, reliability, performance, and supportability.
- Collaborate closely with R&D development teams, product owners, release managers, and software architects in an Agile environment.
- Create and execute QA plans during the SDLC.
- Capture design flow breakages during the software development cycle.
- Identify limitations of software in designing applications and propose improvements to the tool.
- Participate as part of an Agile Scrum team, focusing on delivering sprint tasks and goals.
- Develop and enhance automated test frameworks and test suites.
- Participate in the Early Access/Beta testing program and support customers to understand and resolve issues.
- Maintain a high level of speed, focus, and accountability.
- Stay up‑to‑date with the latest industry developments, standards, and regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in ECE/EEE or an equivalent degree with computer science knowledge desirable.
- 5‑10 years of experience in EDA software QA testing or software automation (preferred EDA industry experience).
- Strong knowledge of RF microwave and high‑speed design application simulation using KeySight ADS or similar EDA software.
- Experience with RFIC simulation tools such as Cadence Virtuoso, ADS, HFSS, etc.
- Ability to find defects and breakages in customer design flow during the software development cycle.
- Excellent problem‑solving and debugging skills in RFIC design and simulation environments.
- Experience working closely with R&D to improve feature development.
- Experience creating and executing QA test plans for new features integrated into products.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python and Shell.
- Proven experience creating automation test frameworks/harnesses for new product/feature development.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, etc.
- Familiarity with software development tools (Git/Bitbucket, MS Visual Studio, Atlassian tools).
- Understanding of functional, smoke, performance, load, security, API, and end‑to‑end testing.
- Passion for continuous education and improving code quality through collaboration with the development team.
- Knowledge of Agile software development methodology.
- Strong logical and analytical abilities; self‑motivated and self‑organized.
- Excellent team player with responsive and accountable communication skills.
