Qualifications

• Master’s degree in chemistry/ Organic/ Analytical chemistry.
• 4–5 years of experience in chemical R&D, preferably in specialty chemicals/API intermediates.
• Strong knowledge of formulation chemistry, analytical methods, and regulatory standards.
• Proven track record of successful product development and commercialization.

Responsibilities

• Lead R&D projects focused on new product development and process improvement.
• Design and execute laboratory experiments using analytical techniques (e.g. UV cabinet, Fume Hood, etc.).
• Analyze experimental data and prepare technical reports and presentations.
• Collaborate with production, quality assurance, and regulatory teams to scale up formulations.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Stay updated on industry trends and integrate new technologies into R&D practices.
• Mentor junior chemists and interns.
• Contribute to patent applications and intellectual property development.

• Knowledge of Basic Computer skills (e.g., Ms Office, Outlook, Browsing).
• Proven track record of successful product development and commercialization.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
