Compensation: 1 Lac per Month – Negotiable

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Quality Manager with 10+ years of relevant experience in the

Cable Manufacturing Industry, with strong technical and hands-on knowledge of Core HT Cables.

The incumbent will be responsible for leading the overall Quality function, ensuring product and process

compliance, maintaining quality standards, and driving continuous improvement across manufacturing

operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Quality Assurance & Quality Control function for HT Cable manufacturing.
• Ensure quality control across incoming, in-process and final inspection stages.
• Ensure compliance with applicable IS, IEC and BIS standards and customer specifications.
• Monitor and review testing requirements and quality parameters for HT Cables.
• Ensure proper inspection, testing, documentation and product traceability.
• Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Corrective Action and Preventive Action (CAPA) for quality issues.
• Drive reduction in rejection, rework and customer complaints.
• Handle customer complaints and ensure timely investigation and closure.
• Coordinate with Production, Technical, Maintenance, PPC and other departments to resolve quality related issues.
• Conduct internal quality audits and coordinate customer/external audits.
• Maintain quality documentation, inspection reports, test certificates and MIS.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for product and process quality.
• Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of laboratory and testing equipment.
• Lead, train and develop the quality team.

Candidate Profile

• 10+ years of relevant experience in Quality / QA / QC within the Cable Manufacturing Industry.
• Strong and practical knowledge of Core HT Cables is essential.
• Hands-on experience in HT Power Cable manufacturing and testing preferred.
• Good knowledge of IS / IEC / BIS standards applicable to power cables.
• Strong understanding of quality systems, inspection procedures and testing methodologies.

Experience in RCA, CAPA, customer complaints and quality improvement.

• Strong leadership and team-management skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication abilities.
• Engineering qualification, preferably Electrical / Electrical & Electronics, will be preferred.
