Job summary

XenonStack is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer in Mohali with 4–7 years of QA and test automation experience. You will define and optimize QA frameworks for Agentic AI, Vision AI, and cloud-native platforms, ensuring accuracy, reliability, security, and compliance across enterprise-grade products.

You will lead end-to-end QA efforts, automate tests, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed QA early in the SDLC and scale best practices across squads.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years in QA, test automation, or quality engineering.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Hands-on with automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, JUnit).
• Solid understanding of API testing (Postman, RestAssured) and performance testing tools (JMeter, Locust).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and microservices testing.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement end-to-end QA strategies for enterprise AI systems.
• Identify test requirements, critical areas, and automation opportunities.
• Design, build, and maintain test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar).
• Automate functional, regression, integration, and API tests across platforms.
• Conduct system, performance, and security testing for AI/ML-powered platforms.
• Collaborate with DevOps to integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking aSenior Quality Engineerwith4–7 years of experiencein test automation, QA strategy, and quality engineering for enterprise platforms.

You’ll lead efforts todefine, implement, and optimize QA frameworksfor XenonStack’sAgentic AI, Vision AI, and Cloud-native platforms— ensuring products meet the highest standards ofaccuracy, reliability, security, and compliance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Define and implementend-to-end QA strategiesfor enterprise-grade AI systems.

• Monitor production environments forbugs, anomalies, and quality regressions.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and AI engineers to ensurerequirements are clear, testable, and aligned with enterprise needs.
• Partner with security engineers to test forcompliance, resilience, and robustness.
• Analyze test results, track metrics (defect density, test coverage, automation rate), and recommend improvements.
• Drive a culture ofshift-left testingand embed QA early in the SDLC.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and help scalebest practices across squads.
• Championquality-first principlesacross engineering teams.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Must-Have

• 4–7 years inQA, test automation, or quality engineering.
• Strong knowledge ofQA methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Hands-on withautomation frameworks(Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, JUnit).
• Solid understanding ofAPI testing(Postman, RestAssured) andperformance testing tools(JMeter, Locust).
• Experience withCI/CD pipelinesand version control (Git, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Familiarity withcloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)and microservices testing.

Good-to-Have

• Experience withcontainerized testing(Docker, Kubernetes).

• Background in BFSI, GRC, or large-scale enterprise systems.
