Job summary

Schreiber Foods is seeking a Quality Assurance Associate to support daily quality and food safety activities in our manufacturing operations. You will perform in-process and finished product checks, monitor CCPs/CQPs, collect samples for lab analysis, and document investigations into any quality concerns.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years relevant experience in Quality Assurance/Control.
• 1-2 years experience in Fresh Milk Reception area is an added advantage.
• Experience supporting QA or manufacturing in a food environment preferred.
• Basic knowledge of HACCP, GMPs and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and finished product quality checks including sensory evaluations and data collection.

Job Category: Quality Job Family: Plant Quality Assurance Job Description: The Quality Assurance Associate supports daily quality and food safety activities within manufacturing operations to ensure products meet defined specifications, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations. This role performs routine monitoring, inspections, documentation, and follow-up activities under established procedures and guidance.

What you'll do

• Perform in-process and finished product quality checks, including sensory evaluations, physical inspections, and data collection.
• Monitor critical control points (CCPs) and critical quality points (CQPs) during production and document results.
• Collect, prepare, and submit samples for laboratory analysis and review results to identify potential quality concerns.
• Accurately document quality checks, deviations, corrective actions, and production records.
• Support investigation of quality issues by collecting data, identifying trends, and escalating concerns to quality leadership.
• Apply established food safety programs, including HACCP, GMPs, and sanitation procedures, during daily operations.
• Collaborate with production partners to address quality issues and reinforce quality and food safety expectations.
• Support training of production partners on quality procedures, documentation, and food safety practices.
• Assist with internal and external audits by preparing documentation and supporting audit activities.
• Follow all safety, food safety, and quality policies and procedures.

What you will need to succeed

• B. Sc/ M. Sc Chemistry, BE Food Technology
• 2-3 years relevant experience in Quality Assurance/ Control
• 1-2 Years experience in Fresh Milk Reception area will be an added advantage
