Job summary

HIC-ABF Special Foods in Kerala seeks an experienced Senior Manager Quality Control to lead our Quality Control and Food Safety function across raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.

You will implement GMP, HACCP, FSSAI, ISO standards, manage QC labs, audits, CAPA, drive root-cause analysis, and mentor the QC team, partnering with Production, R&D, Procurement and Operations to raise product quality and process control.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall Quality Control and Food Safety function.
• Ensure quality standards are maintained for raw materials, in-process materials and finished products.
• Implement and monitor GMP, HACCP, FSSAI, ISO and other applicable food safety standards.
• Manage QC laboratory operations, testing procedures and quality documentation.
• Handle internal, customer and regulatory audits and ensure timely CAPA closure.
• Identify quality issues, conduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions.
• Coordinate with Production, R&D, Procurement and Operations teams for quality improvement.
• Develop, train and mentor the QC team.
• Drive continuous improvement in product quality, food safety and process control.
