Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior Quality Architect to lead end-to-end quality strategy for complex digital programs. You will design large-scale testing architectures, drive automation, and oversee QA across manual, automated, and performance testing while aligning with client objectives.

You will engage in architecture reviews, mentor teams, participate in pre-sales activities, and shape the testing roadmap to ensure robust delivery and measurable quality outcomes for customers.

Qualifications

• 15 to 19 years of IT experience.
• Experience with GenAI tools, testing AI/ML based systems, using LLMs, MCPs, RAG, and evaluating Agents (DeepEval/Ragas).
• Strong leadership and architecture engagement skills.

Job description

We're seeking a Senior Quality Architect to handle customers' business objectives and technical responsibilities. This position suits candidates passionate about engineering solutions and technologies. You'll be tasked with planning full-cycle project infrastructure and design, determining the product's component makeup, and you'll have opportunities to build proofs of concept, engage in pre-sales activities, provide client consultations, and audit existing solutions to assess their effectiveness and identify potential improvements.

Responsibilities

• Design large-scale solutions with deep technical details
• Work closely with business in identifying project requirements
• Design TA solutions that are maintainable, extensible, modular & follow good industry practices (SOLID, design patterns, etc.) so that a project or program team can pick up & run with implementing it
• Create and maintain TA frameworks, TA solutions or other shared formats which can be used by all/many projects & programs with TA across a company
• Define and implement comprehensive test automation strategies including roadmap, tools, framework & approach
• Create and maintain documentation for automation processes, workflows, and configurations
• Evaluate and select the best usage of test automation tools for different purposes
• Oversee the definition, selection, and extension of the test automation architecture frameworks
• Monitor and report on key quality metrics (e.g., defect density, test coverage, and release cycle times) for manual, automated testing and performance testing
• Oversee manual and automated testing efforts to validate functional, integration, regression, and performance aspects
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in test processes, tools, and techniques to accelerate digital transformation
• Perform architecture review/audit
• Establish project necessities and goals to "go-live" solution
• Engage in hands-on pre-sale activities (Proposal, RFP, RFI, Demos)
• Communicate directly with customers during solution architecture design or implementation activities

Requirements

• 15 to 19 years of experience in IT
• Expertise in GenAI tools, testing AI/ML based systems, using LLMs, MCPs, RAG, and evaluating Agents (DeepEval/Ragas)
• Strong experience in at least one programming/scripting language, preferably Java, C# .NET, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript
• Understanding of industry trends and best practices
• Proactive approach and leadership in architecture engagement
