Job summary

EPAM Systems seeks a Quality Solution Architect to bridge customers' business objectives with technical execution and to plan end-to-end project infrastructure and design. You will determine whether components should be off-the-shelf or custom-built, and explore proofs of concept while auditing existing solutions for improvement.

Responsibilities include designing large-scale, detailed architectures, collaborating with stakeholders, conducting architecture reviews, and engaging with customers

Qualifications

• 12-19 years of overall IT experience, including 5+ years specifically in solution architecture design.
• Proven ability to establish test automation strategies across various domains and project types (T&M and Fixed-Price).
• Deep knowledge of test automation frameworks, tools, and methodologies.
• Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (Java, C# .NET, or Python).
• Working knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Solid grasp of architectural principles with the ability to recommend automation solutions tailored to specific architectures.
• Foundational understanding of enterprise and business architecture concepts.
• Hands-on experience with multiple full software development lifecycle approaches and methodologies, including Scrum and RUP.
• Solid background in Cloud technologies, DevOps, and software engineering best practices.
• Practical experience with GenAI tools, including testing AI/ML-based systems, working with LLMs, MCPs, and RAG, and evaluating agents using tools like DeepEval/Ragas.
• Strong command of web application and web service architectures, both relational and non-relational data storage, plus cross-cutting concerns like security, monitoring, and caching.
• Demonstrated proactive leadership in architecture engagements, with on-site customer experience and excellent communication abilities
