Job summary

Crownstack, a digital transformation service provider serving the US market, seeks an experienced QA engineer to design and maintain manual and automated tests for SaaS applications.

You will work closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts, write clear test cases and reports, and help ensure quality across web and mobile platforms.

Noida Sector 3, walking distance from Sector 16 metro, 5 days a week in the office

Responsibilities

• Design & maintain manual & automation test cases.
• Create detailed, step-by-step manual test cases based on project requirements and functional specifications.
• Perform manual & automation testing to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability.
• Document and track test results, defects, and issues using appropriate tools and methodologies.
• Investigate, triage, and prioritise reported defects based on severity and impact.
• Work closely with development teams to facilitate the timely resolution of issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to ensure alignment on quality goals and objectives.
• You will be required to conduct technical interviews with clients or internal teams before you are onboarded to new projects.

Requirements & Skills:

• 3-5+ years of testing experience.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality, high-stakes projects in an agile environment.
• Good experience in Creating Test Plans, Test Strategies, setting up Testing Environments, and understanding business requirements
• Good experience with the Playwright/Selenium automation framework
• Decent exposure to API testing using Postman or any other similar tool
• Excellent exposure to testing Mobile and web Applications, mostly in SaaS based products
• Ability to write excellent test cases covering all useful scenarios and negative test cases
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent documentation skills, along with writing good reports
• Good experience with GIT source control and associated plugins
• Must have experience in running regression or smoke testing suites
• Must have experience in deciding priorities of test cases and managing all test case scenarios
• Must have experience in handling customers directly without the need of supervision
• Experience with Atlassian JIRA and Confluence for managing the application lifecycle.
• Ability to communicate properly by good written and verbal communication, and by generating good test reports.
• Should have automation experience with any one of the following frameworks: Selenium, Cypress, Playwright or other relevant exposure.

Good to have:

• Exposure to Agile, Scrum
• Exposure to API testing or performance testing using Postman and JMeter is a plus
• Creating Test Plans, Test Strategies, setting up Testing Environments, and understanding business requirements
• Experience with Testrails, Testlink, or other Test management tools.
• Working knowledge of other Test Automation tools - Selenium, Appium, Cypress
• Exposure of AWS and MS Azure Fundamentals
• Configuring build or continuous integration tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Ant, Maven, Shell, PowerShell)
• Experience with Atlassian JIRA and Confluence for managing the application lifecycle
