Job summary

Light & Wonder is seeking a Senior QA Engineer- Manual to join our Pune-based team. The role focuses on testing casino game development in a continuous delivery setup. You will craft test cases, execute tests, and work closely with product owners to ensure quality across functional and regression areas.

The position is full-time and office-based in Yerwada, Pune. Ideal candidates have 5-8 years of hands-on testing experience, strong knowledge of testing methodologies, and familiarity with tools

Qualifications

• Hands-on testing in a continuous delivery environment.
• 3+ years of hands-on testing experience (minimum provided as 5-8 years overall).
• Experience in designing test cases and executing them.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with test case management tools (TestRail, HP ALM, Zephyr).
• Defect management experience using JIRA and other tools.
• Knowledge of various testing levels: functional, integration, regression.

Responsibilities

• Test plans and scripts development and execution.
• Collaborate with developers and product owners to understand requirements.
• Carry out regression testing and risk assessment.
• Identify edge cases and UI issues, report defects.
• Provide timely defect retests and status updates.
• Participate in test estimation and reporting to QA Lead.

Senior QA Engineer- Manual

• Job Location: Commerzone IT Tech Park, Yerwada - Pune.

Job Description:

LnW is looking for a Casino Test Engineer who will be responsible for testing the development work of casino games. This is a hands-on role that will involve working closely with developers and product owners to understand the impact of changes and ensuring these are fully tested and test results are communicated effectively to all stakeholders.

This role would ideally suit someone with previous experience working in a continuous delivery environment with an ability to assess requirements and define test cases to cover both requirements and their regression impact.

Key Tasks

• Work with product owners and developers to ensure that requirements are effectively tested.
• Work with QA leads to ensure new development work is being considered in regression testing and risks are considered and communicated.
• Preparation and execution of test plans and test scripts.
• Identify edge situations, user interface flaws, and potential vulnerabilities.
• Raise and monitor defects and ensure they are re-tested in a timely manner.
• Analysefundamental causes of complicated technological challenges and provide ways to enhance product quality.
• Provide estimates and feedback to the QA Lead and Project Manager for project scheduling purposes.
• Define and use test reports and templates that are both comprehensive and clear.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Experience working in a continuous delivery model.
• Significant experience within a testing role to include at least 3 years of hands-on testing experience.
• Experience in designing test cases.
• Experience in Agile using Scrum methodology.
• Experience using Test Case Management Tools such as TestRail, HP ALM, Zephyr etc.
• Experience in managing defects in a structured way using tools such as JIRA
• Experience of working in all different stages of the SW testing life cycle - functional, integration, regression testing
• Ability to determine and dictate relevant test types, methods and approaches (e.g. identify where a tool could help with testing; identify when to test boundary conditions)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent knowledge of test methodologies and development approaches such as Kanban/Waterfall/Agile
• Qualified to ISEB/ISTQB Foundation level – software testing.
• Knowledge of automation would be added advantage. ( Eg: Selenium, Postman, Appium, JMeter)
