Job summary

IQVIA in Kochi, India, seeks a Senior QA Automation Engineer with 4-8 years of experience to join our test team. You will design and execute comprehensive manual and automated tests to ensure product quality.

You will develop automation scripts using Selenium (Python/Java) and Playwright, perform API and database testing with SQL, and contribute to test planning, documentation, and metrics. This is an on-site role in Kochi with cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 4–8 years of QA experience.
• Strong experience in manual and automated testing.
• Hands-on with Selenium and Playwright.
• Proficient in API and database testing; SQL proficiency.
• Experience with test management tools (JIRA, Spira, TestRail).
• Documentation, review, and defect triage skills.
• Excellent collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases.
• Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, API, UI, and DB testing.
• Develop automation scripts using Selenium/Playwright (Python/Java).
• Validate backend data using SQL queries and DB testing techniques.
• Execute API testing and validation with appropriate tools.
• Review requirements, test cases, and artifacts to ensure quality coverage.
• Participate in defect triage, root cause analysis, and verification.
• Collaborate with BAs, Developers, Product Owners, and QA teams.
• Create and maintain test documentation, execution reports, and metrics.
• Contribute to automation framework enhancements and migrations.
