Job summary

RekNomics in Pune (hybrid) is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to build and own the QA automation practice for a product from the ground up.

This hands-on role covers mobile apps (iOS/Android), APIs and web apps; you will define the QA strategy, select the automation stack, and integrate testing into CI/CD.

Ideal candidates have 7–10 years of QA Automation / SDET experience, proven framework-building ability, and strong coding skills.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of QA Automation / SDET experience
• Experience building automation frameworks or QA practices from scratch
• Hands-on mobile automation using Appium, Detox, or Maestro
• API test automation experience
• Web automation using Playwright or Cypress
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Strong hands-on coding and automation skills
• Ability to independently define QA standards, tools, and processes

About the Role

Requirements

What We're Looking For

• 7–10 years of QA Automation / SDET experience
• Proven experience building an automation framework or QA practice from scratch
• Hands-on mobile automation using Appium, Detox, or Maestro
• API test automation experience
• Web automation using Playwright or Cypress
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Strong hands-on coding and automation skills
• Ability to independently define QA standards, tools, and processes

Good to Have

• React Native testing experience
• Real-device or cloud device-farm testing
• Experience as a first/sole QA engineer
• JavaScript / TypeScript automation experience
