Job summary

Insight Enterprises in India seeks a Senior QA Automation Engineer to drive automation strategy and CI/CD testing for complex software projects. You will design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright, TypeScript, Selenium, Node.js and Python.

Collaborate with developers, product managers and QA to define acceptance criteria and ensure test coverage. You will review automation scripts to maintain high quality and contribute to Agile ceremonies in a hybrid India-wide setup.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of professional experience in software testing with a focus on automation.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright, Selenium, TypeScript, Node.js and Python.
• Proven experience driving QA for large-scale software systems.
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban).

About the role

As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you will Contribute to QA automation strategy, planning, and execution for complex software projects. We will count on you to Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright, TypeScript, Selenium, Node.js and Python . Along the way, you will get to: API Testing using Rest-Assured, Postman, Swagger Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define acceptance criteria and ensure test coverage. Perform code reviews for automation scripts to maintain high-quality standards. Drive continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) testing practices. Participate in Agile ceremonies (Scrum, Kanban) and contribute to sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives.

What we’re looking for

• 4-8 years of professional experience in software testing, with a strong focus on automation
• Hands‑on experience with Selenium, Playwright, TypeScript, Node.js and Python
• Proven experience in driving QA efforts for complex, large-scale software systems.
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Strong knowledge of test automation tools and best practices
