Job summary

Delaplex in India is seeking a Senior Automation QA Engineer to join our engineering team responsible for validating web, desktop, and API-based applications. The role emphasizes automation testing using Python and relies on existing automation frameworks.

You will design and maintain automated tests, contribute to regression, functional, API, and performance testing, and integrate tests into Jenkins-based CI/CD pipelines, while performing some manual testing when needed.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in software test automation.
• Strong proficiency in Python for automation.
• Experience with Selenium WebDriver.
• API testing experience using Postman and Python.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, especially Jenkins.
• Experience testing web, desktop, and API applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated test scripts using Python.
• Execute automated and manual tests for web, desktop, and API applications.
• Develop and maintain API automation tests using Postman and Python libraries.
• Create and maintain functional, regression, smoke, performance, load, and security tests.
• Integrate automated tests into existing Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
• Execute tests on virtualized and containerized environments.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and provide detailed reports.
• Collaborate with developers and other QA engineers to improve product quality.
• Follow established automation coding standards and participate in code reviews.

Role Summary

The engineer will primarily write test scripts using existing automation frameworks, contribute to regression, functional, API, and performance testing, and integrate automated tests into Jenkins-based CI/CD pipelines.

Core

• 6+ years of experience in software test automation

• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC
• Experience testing web, desktop, and API applications

Nice-to-Have Skills
