LiveRamp is seeking a Senior QA to join our dynamic engineering team. You will ensure the quality and reliability of software products through designing and executing comprehensive testing strategies for web and backend apps.

You will collaborate with development, product, and operations teams to improve test coverage, implement automation, and uphold QA best practices across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, or a related field.
• Extensive software QA or test engineering experience.
• Experience with automated testing tools and scripting languages.
• Ability to design and execute complex test scenarios for web and backend systems.
• Knowledge of API testing, CI/CD pipelines, and Git.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Create, maintain, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and backend applications
• Develop and implement robust manual and automated testing processes
• Work with engineering teams to define technical requirements and translate them into effective test strategies
• Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through the design, implementation, and execution of comprehensive testing strategies. Collaborating closely with development, product, and operations teams, you will drive high standards in quality assurance and contribute to delivering outstanding solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and backend applications
• Develop and implement robust manual and automated testing processes
• Work with engineering teams to define technical requirements and translate them into effective test strategies
• Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution
• Participate in code reviews with a focus on testability and quality
• Continuously monitor and improve test coverage and effectiveness

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Extensive experience in software QA or test engineering roles
• Familiarity with automated testing tools, frameworks, and scripting languages (e.g., Selenium, Python, Java)
• Experience designing and executing complex test scenarios for both web and backend systems
• Strong understanding of API testing, CI/CD pipelines, and version control (e.g., Git)
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience testing SaaS or cloud-based applications
• Familiarity with performance and security testing tools
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
