Job summary

Durus Consulting in Pune, Maharashtra, India seeks an experienced Python GenAI engineer to design and develop scalable GenAI/LLM applications. You will build RAG-based solutions, AI chatbots, and agentic AI, using LangChain/LangGraph and FastAPI.

You will implement modern AI workflows, work with vector databases, and deploy via Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift, maintaining CI/CD pipelines and following SDLC and Agile practices.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in Python application development.
• Experience with GenAI / LLM application development.
• Proficiency with LangChain, LangGraph or similar GenAI frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with RAG, Chatbots and Agentic Design Patterns.
• Knowledge of vector databases such as pgvector or Pinecone.
• Strong experience with FastAPI.
• Practical experience with asyncio and asynchronous programming.
• Good knowledge of PostgreSQL/Oracle, SQL, and SQLAlchemy.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable GenAI/LLM applications using Python.
• Build and implement GenAI use cases including RAG, AI chatbots, and Agentic AI solutions.
• Develop AI workflows using frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or similar frameworks.
• Design and integrate vector databases such as pgvector, Pinecone, or equivalent technologies.
• Develop high-performance APIs and backend services using FastAPI.
• Apply advanced Python concepts, including Python internals, asynchronous programming, and asyncio.
• Work with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and Oracle, including SQL and ORM technologies such as SQLAlchemy.
• Containerize and deploy applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and follow DevOps best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.
• Follow SDLC, Agile methodologies, coding standards, design principles, and software development best practices.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and contribute to continuous improvement of applications and development processes.
