Overview

You will be embedded directly within our engineering unit, receiving mentorship from leading industry experts. This role offers hands‑on experience in a production environment, specifically focusing on the modern Python async stack (FastAPI), robust data management (PostgreSQL), cutting‑edge Agentic AI integrations for personalized insights, and crucial third‑party financial integrations.

This position is ideal for an ambitious individual eager to apply their foundational engineering knowledge to real-world problems involving AI model deployment, data governance, predictive modeling, and automated financial insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and test high-performance backend services using Python and the FastAPI framework, focusing on low-latency data delivery for advisory services.
• Get hands‑on experience in building and deploying early-stage agentic AI features aimed at automating personalized advisory workflows and generating predictive client insights.
• Work with PostgreSQL to optimize database schemas, write efficient queries, and ensure data integrity for sensitive client portfolio data and market intelligence.
• Implement and manage reliable connections to third‑party financial APIs and build robust systems for ingesting data from documents (Excel, CSVs, and PDFs) related to client onboarding and compliance.
• Participate actively in code reviews, upholding high engineering standards and using Git for collaborative version control.
• Contribute to implementing basic monitoring and health checks to ensure the reliability and uptime of our core services.
• Work closely with application developers to design and deliver well‑documented RESTful APIs for our internal tools and client‑facing digital experience.
• Assist the team in maintaining high standards of SOC 2/Finra compliance and application security.

Requirements
