Job summary

Cielo Talent is seeking an experienced backend engineer in Bengaluru to develop and maintain robust APIs, microservices, and data pipelines for data science and AI workloads. You will design scalable databases, build ETL processes, and collaborate with data scientists to productionize ML models.

The role requires strong Python/Java skills, RESTful APIs, and cloud experience. You will mentor junior engineers, participate in code reviews, and contribute to DevOps practices in an office-based setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of backend development experience.
• Proficiency in Python and Java.
• Working knowledge of JavaScript.
• Experience with RESTful API design and modern API frameworks.
• Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with containerization using Docker.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Understanding of version control systems (Git).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience coding with an AI Assistant.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers.
