Job summary

Purview Services seeks a Python backend developer to design and implement scalable services. You will work with Django/Flask/FastAPI, build REST/OpenAPI APIs, and manage data with SQL and NoSQL databases.

Exposure to microservices, containerization with Docker, and orchestration via Kubernetes/OpenShift is preferred, along with cloud usage (AWS/Azure/GCP) and CI/CD pipelines. Strong testing and observability practices are expected.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Python with OOP concepts, multithreading and async programming.
• Experience with Django, Flask or FastAPI frameworks.
• API development with REST, JSON, HTTP/HTTPS and OpenAPI/Swagger.
• Database knowledge: SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis).
• Experience with Django ORM / SQLAlchemy.
• Version control with Git and environment/dependency management.
• Experience with Microservices architecture.
• Containerization with Docker; orchestration with Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• Cloud exposure: AWS/Azure/GCP.
• CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps.
• Messaging: Kafka, RabbitMQ, Celery.
