Job summary

Talentica Software India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Senior Python Developer to design and maintain fast, reliable backend systems for Autodesk-backed projects. You will build Python-based web apps and RESTful APIs, optimize queries, and implement secure authentication at scale.

You will own server-side logic, APIs, and database design, mentor peers, and collaborate with DevOps to ensure smooth deployments. Strong Python and Django/Flask experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience developing back-end applications using Python.
• Proficiency in one or more Python web frameworks (Django/Flask).
• Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of testing frameworks and libraries (pytest).
• Familiarity with authentication and authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth).
• Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Good to have: familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
