Job summary

Talentica Software India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Senior Backend JS Developer to lead the backend architecture for scalable, fast, and secure server-side systems.

You will build TypeScript-based Node.js services and RESTful APIs for Autodesk clients, solving asynchronous and event-driven challenges at scale. You will own API design, database schemas, and authentication mechanisms (JWT, OAuth), while mentoring juniors and guiding code quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on back-end development with Node.js.
• Exceptional proficiency in TypeScript.
• Deep knowledge of one or more web frameworks (Express.js, Nest.js).
• Strong understanding of server-side JavaScript, asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
• Experience with MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL; familiarity with JWT/OAuth.

Senior Backend JS Developer

Lead the backend architecture behind server-side systems that have to stay fast, reliable, and secure under real production load. As a Senior Node.js Web Developer at Talentica, you’ll work with our client Autodesk, building TypeScript-based Node.js services and RESTful APIs, solving engineering challenges such as asynchronous, event-driven architecture at scale.

What You’ll Own

• Design and build server-side services in Node.js and TypeScript, using frameworks like Express.js or Nest.js.
• Own the RESTful APIs connecting front-end and back-end systems, including their performance and reliability.
• Design database schemas and optimize queries across MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Implement authentication and authorization (JWT, OAuth) to protect sensitive data.
• Own code quality across the team: lead code reviews, mentor junior developers, and debug production issues.
• Work with DevOps to ensure smooth deployment and integration, and maintain technical documentation for the codebase and APIs.

What We Need
