Job Role: Senior Python Developer

We are seeking a Senior Python Developer with strong expertise in REST API development at scale. You will build high-performance backend services, design scalable architectures, deploy on AWS, and mentor junior engineers.

Location: Mumbai

Experience: 5–7 years

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable RESTful APIs using Flask/Django/FastAPI.
• Design and optimize database models using ORMs (SQLAlchemy/Django ORM).
• Work extensively with PostgreSQL.
• Implement distributed/background tasks using Celery and RabbitMQ.
• Deploy and manage applications on AWS (ECS/Fargate, EC2, RDS, Lambda, Glue).
• Collaborate with Product, QA, and DevOps teams.
• Perform code reviews, mentor juniors, and troubleshoot production issues.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of backend development with Python.
• Proven experience in REST API development at scale.
• Strong proficiency in Flask (primary), with Django/FastAPI a plus.
• Hands‑on experience with PostgreSQL and ORM frameworks.
• Experience with Redis, Celery, and RabbitMQ.
• Proficiency with AWS services and Docker.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD, Git workflows, and testing.
