Job summary

Varaha in India is seeking a Senior Project Manager - Science to lead soil science, crop systems, forestry, and carbon management projects on site in Gurugram. You will manage fieldwork, coordinate labs, and translate data into actionable insights for stakeholders.

You will apply models and tools (Python/R, DNDC, RothC, DayCent) to assess soil processes, contribute to carbon protocol alignment, and mentor a multidisciplinary team toward timely, high-quality delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Soil Science, Crop Science, Forestry, or related field.
• Experience with soil sampling, laboratory analysis, and data interpretation.
• Familiarity with Python and/or R and modeling tools.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Willingness to learn and collaborate in a team.
