Job summary

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) is seeking a Diploma or BE engineer for senior project management of O&M water and wastewater assets in Lucknow. You will lead end-to-end project delivery, mobilization, KPIs, billing, and collections while ensuring compliance with CPHEEO norms and IS standards.

Strong vendor and stakeholder management, cost optimisation, and a customer-service orientation are essential. Experience with automation in water treatment and asset management systems is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or graduate engineer in MECH/ELECT/INST with 18-22 years’ PM experience.
• Experience in operation and maintenance of water and wastewater treatment plants.
• Familiar with CPHEEO guidelines, IS standards, and statutory norms.
• Strong ability to build high-performance teams and manage multiple O&M projects.
• Good negotiation, vendor, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end management of municipal O&M projects from mobilisation to KPI tracking.
• Oversee billing, collections, and contract administration with vendors.
• Ensure compliance with CPHEEO, IS standards, and statutory laws governing workmen/contract labour.
• Drive continual improvement, cost optimisation and profitability growth.
• Lead asset management and automation initiatives for water treatment facilities.

Job description

• Candidate should be a Diploma or Graduate engineer in MECH/ELECT/INST with 18-22 years of experience in Project Management of multiple O&M jobs in municipal or private sector.
• Experience in operation and maintenance of Water and waster water treatment plants , transmission lines and distribution network is mandatory.
• Should be familiar with basic treatment process of water and waste water
• Should be familiar with automation related to water treatment and pump houses
• Should be familiar with computerised asset management system
• Should be familiar with best practices of managing Civil/mechanical/electrical/instrumentation assets
• Should be good at building a strong and high performance team.
• Must be familiar with statutory norms , IS standards , CPHEEO requirements related to operation and maintenance of water treatment and distribution
• Should be familiar with statutory laws governing workmen/contract labour
• Should have good negotiation and vendor management skills
• Should have strong orientation towards continual improvement, cost optimisation and profitability improvement.

• Should have experience in end to end management of municipal jobs right from mobilisation , operation , meeting contractual KPIs , billing , collection etc
