Job summary

DoubleTick, a mobile-first conversational CRM built on WhatsApp Business API, seeks a Project Manager/Technical Program Manager in Mumbai. You will drive end-to-end AI, SaaS, and platform engineering initiatives, coordinating with product, engineering, QA, DevOps, and customer success to ensure timely delivery.

Ideal candidates have 3–8 years in PM/TPM, strong SaaS experience, and hands-on AI project exposure.

Qualifications

• 3–8 years in Project Management / TPM / Delivery Management.
• SaaS or product-based company experience.
• Hands-on AI/GenAI/LLM project experience.
• Knowledge of OpenAI, GPT, LangChain, RAG or Conversational AI.
• Backend microservices and distributed systems experience.
• Strong APIs, SaaS integrations, webhooks & platform integrations.
• Hands-on Agile methodologies, Scrum, and delivery management.
• Experience leading Agile ceremonies (planning, standups, retros).
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Familiar with Jira/ClickUp/Asana/Trello/Monday.com

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple end-to-end project executions involving AI, SaaS, and platform engineering.
• Manage project planning, timelines, sprint execution, dependencies, and risk mitigation.
• Coordinate with Product, Engineering, QA, DevOps, and Customer Success for delivery.
• Drive Agile project management processes including sprint ceremonies and releases.
• Oversee AI-powered workflows, automation systems, and enterprise SaaS implementations.
• Work with engineering on backend architecture, APIs, integrations, and microservices.
• Oversee SaaS integrations with CRMs and enterprise systems via APIs/webhooks.
• Ensure project documentation, reporting, and stakeholder transparency.
• Track KPIs, progress, milestones, and engineering velocity.
• Identify bottlenecks and technical risks; suggest improvements.
• Collaborate with leadership on roadmap and process improvements.
• Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead multiple end-to-end project executions involving AI, SaaS, and platform engineering initiatives.
• Manage project planning, timelines, sprint execution, dependencies, and risk mitigation
• Coordinate with Product, Engineering, QA, DevOps, and Customer Success teams for successful delivery
• Drive Agile project management processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, grooming, and release cadences
• Manage delivery of AI-powered workflows, automation systems, and enterprise SaaS implementations
• Work closely with engineering teams on backend architecture, APIs, integrations, and microservices-based deployments
• Oversee SaaS integrations with CRMs like SFDC, MS Dynamics365, SAP, Zoho, CDPs, Data Lakes, etc., third-party platforms, custom APIs, webhooks, and enterprise systems
• Ensure project documentation, reporting, stakeholder communication, and operational transparency.
• Track KPIs, project health, delivery milestones, and engineering velocity.
• Identify bottlenecks, technical risks, and execution gaps proactively.
• Collaborate with leadership on roadmap planning, execution strategy, and process improvements
• Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3–8 years of experience in Project Management / Technical Program Management / Delivery Management
• Strong experience working in SaaS or product-based companies
• Hands-on experience managing AI/GenAI/LLM-based projects or modern automation platforms
• Understanding of AI technologies such as OpenAI, GPT, LLMs, AI Agents, LangChain, RAG, or Conversational AI ecosystems
• Experience managing backend engineering projects involving microservices and distributed systems
• Strong understanding of APIs, SaaS integrations, webhooks, and platform integrations
• Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies, Scrum frameworks, sprint cadences, and delivery management
• Experience leading Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, retrospectives, stand-ups, and backlog grooming
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and coordination skills
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, ClickUp, Asana, Trello, or Monday.com
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and execution capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) / Certified Scrum Professional (CSP)
• SAFe Agile certification is a plus
• Six Sigma / Lean Six Sigma certification preferred
• Exposure to DevOps workflows, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience working with high-growth startups or fast-paced product companies
• Technical understanding of cloud-native SaaS architectures preferred
