Job summary

Coforge is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager for an onsite assignment in Nairobi, Kenya. The role focuses on Airline Passenger Service Systems (PSS) delivery, migration, and transformation across multiple stakeholders.

The incumbent will drive end-to-end project delivery, manage scope, schedule, budget, and risks, coordinating with business teams, vendors, and technology groups to ensure successful deployments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Project Management experience in Airline IT or Aviation Technology.
• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience with Airline Passenger Service Systems (PSS).
• Strong understanding of airline operations including Reservations, Inventory Management, Ticketing, Departure Control Systems, Check-in Processes, Flight Operations Integration, Loyalty Programs, Ancillary Services.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of Airline PSS implementation, migration, enhancement, and transformation projects.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communications.
• Collaborate with airline business teams, vendors, technology teams, and third-party partners to ensure successful project execution.
• Drive requirements gathering, solution design reviews, testing, cutover planning, and production deployment activities.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including Business Analysts, Architects, Developers, QA, Infrastructure, and Operations teams.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to leadership and client stakeholders.
• Manage project governance, RAID logs, change requests, and escalation management.
• Ensure compliance with airline industry standards, operational requirements, and service-level commitments.
• Support vendor management and coordination with PSS providers and associated airline systems.
• Facilitate business process improvements and technology modernization initiatives.

• Ability to manage distributed global teams and multiple workstreams.
