We are looking for a Senior Developer – Python to implement solutions across multiple applications in the Semiconductor, Medical, Automotive, High‑Tech Capital Equipment and Manufacturing industries. The role offers experience in Test and Measurement Automation with Fortune 500 clients and a focus on driving technical excellence and customer satisfaction.

Position Overview

Design and implement software for Measurement & Automation and Semiconductor Post‑Silicon Validation platforms. Work with Agile teams to deliver high‑quality deliverables, ensuring customer delight.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Agile team to achieve shared goals.
• Maintain high quality standards with meticulous attention to detail.
• Understand and prioritize customer requirements.
• Break down requirements, estimate effort, and create detailed plans.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks and issues.
• Develop prototypes to explore new concepts and design solutions.
• Write clean code, debug, and design user interfaces.
• Participate in design, code, and usability reviews.
• Demo solutions to clients and provide high‑quality documentation.
• Report project status and progress to senior team members.
• Participate in project meetings with management and teammates.
• Generate innovative ideas and present impact analyses to clients.

Qualifications

• 2‑5 years of Python programming experience with an engineering degree.
• Experience building web applications in Python.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and database systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Good grasp of Python design patterns.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines and testing frameworks, especially pytest.
• Basic understanding of test and measurement fundamentals.
• Proactive in staying updated on Python trends and emerging technologies.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices.

Preferred / Good to Have

• Debugging electronic hardware / reading electrical schematics.
• Experience in semiconductor device characterization and testing.
• Knowledge of C programming.
• Experience with Git, SVN, and Perforce.
• Remote development experience.
• LabVIEW and TestStand development experience.
• CLD or CLA certification.
