Qualifications

As a Senior Project Engineer, you will play a critical role in the technical delivery of complex SCADA and PPC/EMS projects, taking ownership of engineering solutions from design through commissioning.

You will act as a technical reference, contributing to continuous improvement, supporting peers, and ensuring successful project execution across multiple stakeholders.

What will you do:

• Translate project requirements into detailed technical specifications, defining data points, plant monitoring needs, and control logic for SCADA and PPC systems
• Develop and review engineering deliverables such as single line diagrams, network architectures, and hardware layouts using AutoCAD and related tools
• Configure and integrate SCADA platforms, dataloggers, and industrial communication interfaces (e.g., MODBUS, DNP3, IEC61850, 104 etc), ensuring reliable end-to-end connectivity across multiple devices, vendors, and plant systems
• Execute and support commissioning activities both remotely and on-site (including travel up to 30% when needed), covering system testing, signal validation, issue resolution, and coordination with EPCs, OEMs, and site teams
• Produce high-quality technical documentation and reports, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and alignment with client and project standards
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align technical solutions with project schedules and operational constraints, ensuring smooth execution and handover
• Coach and support other engineers, reviewing their work, sharing best practices, and collaborating closely with Tech Leads on complex topics to strengthen team capabilities and drive technical excellence

About you

Which skills to bring?

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering
• 5+ years of hands-on experience providing engineering and technical advice to renewable energy projects within solar PV, wind and/or BESS
• Strong knowledge of industrial communication protocols like MODBUS or other relevant and their application in real plant integrations like OPC, API, FTP etc.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for developing and reviewing single line diagrams and technical layouts
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, with strong planning, organization, and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, structured documentation and client-facing discussions
• Fluency in written and spoken English
