Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead and coordinate MEP execution for major building construction projects in India. The role requires strong technical expertise across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and ELV/BMS systems, with oversight of submittals, BOQs, and installation handover.

You will drive safety, quality, and timely delivery while interfacing with clients and authorities. The ideal candidate brings 6+ years in MEP execution, proficiency in AutoCAD and MS

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of MEP execution and coordination experience.
• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting, ELV, and BMS systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera; BIM/Revit MEP exposure preferred.
• Experience in institutional building construction projects is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution and coordination of MEP works across building construction projects, ensuring alignment with project schedules, specifications, and quality standards.
• Review MEP drawings, technical submittals, BOQs, and construction methodologies, while coordinating with architectural, structural, and civil teams.
• Manage installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting, ELV, and BMS systems.
• Monitor contractor and vendor performance, ensuring adherence to project timelines, cost controls, safety standards, and contractual obligations.
• Liaise with consultants, clients, and statutory authorities to obtain approvals, resolve technical issues, and facilitate project delivery.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera, and Microsoft Office; exposure to Revit MEP and BIM coordination is preferred.
• Experience in institutional building construction projects such as hospitals, educational campuses, research facilities, or government buildings will be considered an added advantage.
