Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is hiring a Senior Project Engineer to implement and maintain the quality management system across construction projects. You will develop and apply QA/QC policies, perform audits, monitor compliance with ISO 9001/14001 and OHSAS 18001, and coordinate with site teams to resolve quality issues.

Ideal candidates hold a BE Civil with 8–10 years of QA/QC experience in industrial/PEB projects, with strong documentation and communication skills to drive continual improvement on

• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 and NCR closure.
• Excellent communication and coordination with site teams and contractors.

Responsibilities

Job TitleSenior Project EngineerJob Description SummaryThis role is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the quality management system.Job DescriptionAbout the Role:Preparation and implementation of QA/QC policies and proceduresCarry out audits for ISO 9001, 14001 and OHSAS 18001 and recommend the necessary corrective actions and measuresMonitor policies and procedures and report any areas where improvement is requiredAssist the Project/Construction Managers in reviewing the contractor’s specific quality plans and produce recommendationsEnsure timely and effective resolution for QA or QC issues, in coordination with Construction Manager/Consultant/Department HeadPerform all daily inspection and test of the scope and character necessary to achieve the quality of construction required in the drawings and specifications for all works under the contract performed ON or OFF site.Carry out inspection and checking for all quality related procedures in the site and ensure activity at the site are as per approved method statement and inspection test plan.Coordinate with the contractor’s representative and Site Engineer in charge for inspection and meeting about quality problems including the closure of Non-Compliance Report.Taking care of QA/QC documents of the entire project including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site instruction/observations, permanent materials delivered and other QA/QC documents.
