Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield in Thane, India, seeks a seasoned Project Manager to lead QA/QC across the project lifecycle. You will prepare and implement QA/QC policies, review contractor quality plans, and conduct ISO 9001, 14001 and OHSAS 18001 audits to drive continuous improvement.

Ideal candidates have 14+ years in quality management, preferably on data center projects, with a proven track record of site quality leadership and timely resolution of QA/QC issues.

Qualifications

• 14+ years in quality management.
• Experience in data center projects preferred.
• Track record of site quality management across full project life cycle.
• Experience delivering projects within predefined quality parameters.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and implement QA/QC policies and procedures.
• Review and approve quality plans from contractors.
• Carry out audits for ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001; recommend corrective actions.
• Monitor policies and procedures; report improvement needs.
• Assist PMs in reviewing contractor quality plans and provide recommendations.
• Review plans, drawings and specs to ensure quality and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure timely resolution of QA/QC issues with Construction Manager/Consultant.
• Manage QA/QC documents across the project (certificates, tests, non-conformances).

About the Role:

• Preparation and implementation of QA/QC policies and procedures.
• Review and approve quality plan for the project once received from the contractors
• Carry out audits for ISO 9001, 1401 and OHSAS 18001 and recommend the necessary corrective actions and measures.
• Monitor policies and procedures and report any areas where improvement is required.
• Assist the Project/Construction Managers in reviewing the contractor's quality specific plans and produce recommendations.
• Review project plans, drawings, and technical specifications to ensure they meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure timely and effective resolution for QA or QC issues, in coordination with Construction Manager/Consultant/Department Head.
• Taking care of QA/QC documents of the entire project including certificates, calibrations, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site

About You

• 14+ years’ experience in Quality Management
• Preferably experience in Data center projects
• Experience in delivering the project within Set Quality parameters as detailed at the start of project.
• Proven track record in site Quality Management for entire life cycle of a Project.
• Weekly and Monthly Reports highlighting all Good Practices and Measure taken to overcome wrong practice and improvement plan.
