Job summary

Citi is seeking a Senior Project Analyst - Asset Servicing to drive end-to-end operations across multiple markets. The role interfaces with depositary, counterparts and regulators, and with Citi lines of business, clients and internal teams.

You will participate in BRD/FRD development, UAT, testing and implementation coordination. The successful candidate will understand end-to-end operations, act as client advocate, and engage with senior stakeholders as escalation point and strategic partner.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years relevant experience in banking/asset servicing.
• BA/UAT experience preferred.
• Knowledge of equity, fixed income and asset-backed securities is desirable.
• Proven team player with ability to operate and deliver to deadlines.
• Project work or business analysis experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Understand Operating Model to advise stakeholders on changes.
• Assist Project Manager with release planning, execution and post-implementation review.
• Collaborate with technology and product teams to develop robust solutions.
• Understand BRDs/FRDs and support testing of solutions.
• Create business scenarios for testing using own and ops knowledge.
• Lead BRD and FRD walkthroughs with stakeholders.
• Ensure documentation is communicated to impacted parties and ready for implementation.
• Coordinate with project managers to keep documentation in order and communicate status to senior management.
• Carry out test planning and execution for Asset Servicing projects.

Job description

Senior Project Analyst - Asset Servicing is responsible for the accurate and timely processing a range of different corporate event types across multiple markets. The department interfaces directly with the local market entities including depositary, counterparts and regulators as well as other Citi lines of business, internal and external clients. The Citi Asset Servicing department is a varied, fast paced, challenging & enjoyable place to work which has something for everyone.

The team is the initial contact point for operational & Product development requests and business analysis. The team produces/reviews BRDs (Business Requirements Document) & FRDs (Functional Requirements Document), manages UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and coordinates implementation of new developments.

The successful candidate will be required to have a strong and detailed understanding of end-to-end operations and act as a client advocate. You will be required to interface with internal stakeholders at a senior level, acting as escalation point as well as a strategic business partner.

Responsibilities:

• Understanding the Operating Model to be able to advise all stakeholders on the impact of any change of the model.
• Assist the Project Manager with the co-ordination of release planning, execution and post-implementation review.
• Working with technology and product colleagues to develop a robust, stable and scalable solution.
• Understand Business Requirement Documents and support testing of solutions.
• Create Business Scenarios for testing through own knowledge and leveraging the knowledge of Operations specialists.
• Leading BRD and FRD walkthroughs with multiple stakeholders.
• Ensure all solutions are appropriately documented and communicated to impacted parties.
• Ensure that core Operations staff ready for the implementation.
• Work with the Project Manager to ensure all project documentation is in place, updated and in good order.
• Work with the Project Manager to communicate to stakeholders/senior management the status of a project.
• Carry out test planning and test execution for key Asset Servicing projects

Skills and Experience

• Asset Servicing / Custody Product knowledge.
• Analytical skills.
• Good attention to detail, excellent organizational skills.
• Proven ability to operate and deliver to deadlines.
• Project work or Business Analysis experience is a plus.
• Proven success as a team player.

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years relevant experience

Education:

• Must have 2-5 years relevant banking experience in Asset Servicing
• BA/UAT experience preferred
• Knowledge of multiple types of investment instruments including: Equity securities, Fixed Income and Asset Backed securities
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Access- is desired)
• Proven success as a team player
