Job summary

Valmont Industries, Inc. in India is seeking a senior Full Stack Developer to own AI-driven software solutions and cloud-native systems. You will work with Angular/React fronts and Python backends, integrate AI models with Data Science, and collaborate with business teams to automate workflows.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to take ownership of projects end-to-end and experience with Azure Logic Apps, Function Apps, Storage and web apps, ADFS and Azure development.
• Strong Python development experience.
• Asp.Net4, VB.Net, C#.net, ADO.Net, Entity Framework, MFC, HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery, CSS, XML, AJAX, PLSQL, SQL, ASP.Net MVC, Web Services, API Programming, Azure & Client programming.
• Working experience with GitHub and Azure Dev Ops and AI first SDLC process.
• Experience with reporting in .NET, complex SQL concepts with Oracle PL/SQL and MSSQL.
• Experience with testing, documentation, troubleshooting and requirements analysis.

Responsibilities

• This position reports to the Manager IT Business Applications with no direct reports.
• Travel up to 15% internationally or domestically, including overnights.
• Apply Agile, Waterfall or other ALM methodologies to develop solutions.
• Own AI-driven software solutions end-to-end from discovery to deployment.
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand workflows and automation opportunities.
• Design, build, and operate cloud-native systems with Python backends and Angular/React frontends.
• Integrate AI models and optimization algorithms into production systems with Data Science.
• Balance rapid experimentation with production-grade engineering in an industrial setting.
• Perform system analysis, design, coding, and maintenance with minimal supervision.
• Ensure compliance with standards, controls, and audit trails in production deployments.
• Document gaps between current and future processes and translate requirements.
• Develop architecture and code for applications including databases and UI.
• Assist Analysts and Developers with data conversion tasks.
• Lead project teams and users in data validation and quality.
• Monitor and support user acceptance testing and training.
• Provide ongoing support and documentation for development projects.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and evaluate new technologies.
• Perform feasibility analyses across technical, infrastructural and economic aspects.
• Lead project planning including estimates, dependencies, and resource allocation.

Essential Functions

• This position reports to the Manager IT Business Applications and has no direct or indirect reports.
• This role requires up to 15% travel (internationally/domestically), including overnight stays.
• Apply Agile, Waterfall or other similar application lifecycle methodology to develop solutions.
• Own AI-driven software solutions end-to-end, from initial problem discovery and stakeholder interviews through design, development and deployment.
• Work directly with internal business teams to understand workflows, pain points, and opportunities for automation and optimization
• Design, build, and operate end-to-end, cloud-native systems, covering scalable backend services in Python, modern frontends using Angular or React, and secure, reliable infrastructure
• Collaborate closely with the Data Science team to integrate models, optimization algorithms, and AI agents into production systems
• Balance rapid experimentation with production-grade engineering practices in a real-world industrial environment
• Perform systems analysis and design, document, develop, implement, and maintain complex application development work with little or no supervision.
• Ensure systems and applications created under his/her responsibility adhere to departmental standards, appropriate controls and audit trails exist, and that new systems and programs are thoroughly tested prior to installation in production environment.
• Identify and document gaps between current and future business processes.
• Analyze and translate user requirements into technical design and development projects.
• Develop technical architecture and code for applications including database, scripting and user interface design.
• Assist Business Analysts and other Programmers in identifying fields to execute data conversion.
• Lead project team and end users in execution of data validation and quality.
