Senior Program Manager, Global Catalog Operations

Amazon is seeking highly skilled and motivated program manager for Catalog Support Operations team. As a Senior Program Manager, you manage significantly complex initiatives that cut across multiple teams. You drive clarity in extremely ambiguous situations, where even the strategy itself may not be defined. You work with multiple teams across various orgs in Amazon to drive programs to closure. Key job responsibilities
  • Drive projects and programs that require collaboration across varied internal & external teams to ensure dependent deliverables are achieved as per the plan with due quality
  • Excellent communication, both verbal and written as you will be required to convey updates on issues, operational status and business drivers as needed throughout the activity cycle and during daily/weekly reviews
  • Data-driven and deal with fragment datasets to discern insights
  • Write effective documents to highlight customer pain points, opportunity size, data insights, customer/stakeholder anecdotes and recommendations to drive executive decision making
  • Proactively monitor, identify and prevent potential issues
  • Develop performance metrics to assist with driving business results
  • Lead initiatives to identify and eliminate root causes of defects in order to drive efficiency

Basic Qualifications
  • 5+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
  • 5+ years of program or project management experience
  • 5+ years of delivering cross functional projects experience
  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
  • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
