Senior Product UI/UX Designer – B2B SaaS, Business Analysis & User Testing

Location: Remote / Hybrid

We are looking for an exceptionalSenior Product UI/UX Designerwho combines strong UI and UX expertise withproduct thinking, Business Analysis, user research, usability testing, product testing, graphic design, research, and problem-solving skills.

This is not a traditional UI/UX role focused only on designing screens.

The person joining us will play multiple roles throughout the product lifecycle and must be capable of taking a high-level idea or business requirement, understanding it deeply, asking the right questions, identifying missing requirements and edge cases, researching possible solutions, defining workflows and user journeys, creating wireframes and prototypes, designing polished interfaces, validating designs through user testing, collaborating with developers, and testing the implemented product.

Our platform includescomplex B2B SaaS architecture, multi-tenant environments, role-based access and permissions, multiple user types, dashboards, workflows, integrations, AI-enabled functionality, and different journeys based on user roles and lifecycle stages.

This is a high-ownership role. We need someone who can think independently, challenge assumptions when necessary, identify gaps before development begins, conduct strong R&D, and bringoriginal and innovative ideasrather than simply designing what they are told.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end UI/UX and product design for complex web and mobile applications.
• Participate actively in product discussions, understand business objectives and user requirements, ask thoughtful questions, identify missing information, and document requirements clearly.
• Apply strongBusiness Analysis thinkingto understand and define user roles, permissions, business rules, workflows, dependencies, integrations, edge cases, exception scenarios, and different user journeys.
• Translate high-level ideas and requirements into structureduser journeys, process flows, information architecture, workflow diagrams, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and polished high-fidelity UI designs.
• Design forcomplex B2B SaaS, multi-tenant, and role-based platforms, considering how different organizations, administrators, teams, end users, partners, and other user types interact with the system.
• Understand and design complete end-to-end workflows rather than isolated screens, including happy paths, alternate paths, edge cases, errors, empty states, permissions, validations, notifications, and exception handling.
• ConductR&D, competitor analysis, UX benchmarking, industry research, and product researchto identify best practices, emerging trends, gaps, and opportunities for innovation.
• Proactively bringnew ideas and original solutionsand recommend improvements to product workflows, usability, engagement, efficiency, accessibility, and overall user experience.
• Conductuser research and user testing, including usability testing of wireframes, prototypes, and developed features with appropriate users.
• Develop appropriate testing scenarios and tasks, observe how users interact with the product, identify usability problems and points of confusion, gather and analyze feedback, document findings, and improve designs based on evidence.
• Validate important assumptions and workflows through testing rather than relying only on internal opinions or design assumptions.
• Iterate wireframes, prototypes, workflows, and final designs based on user feedback, testing results, business requirements, technical constraints, and product objectives.
• Design experiences that considercurrent and future AI capabilities, including AI assistants, automation, intelligent recommendations, AI-supported decision-making, document intelligence, and intelligent workflows.
• Create clear, detailed design specifications and documentation for development teams and collaborate closely with developers throughout implementation.
• Ensure developers have sufficient information to accurately implement workflows, interactions, states, responsive behaviour, validations, and design requirements.
• Review developed features against approved designs and requirements fordesign accuracy, functionality, usability, responsiveness, accessibility, missing states, workflow issues, inconsistencies, and overall UI/UX quality.
• PerformUI/UX QA and product testingbefore features are considered complete, clearly document issues, communicate them to the development team, and verify corrections.
• Test complete user journeys across different roles and scenarios rather than reviewing only individual screens.
• Build and maintain scalabledesign systems, reusable components, design patterns, and component librariesfor web and mobile applications.
• Maintain consistency across different modules, user roles, platforms, screen sizes, and product experiences.
• Create professionalgraphic design assetswhen required, including flyers, website graphics, banners, product visuals, presentation materials, and other digital marketing assets.
• Work collaboratively with product, business, technical, and development teams while taking strong individual ownership of assigned work.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional UI/UX or Product Design experience, or an exceptional portfolio demonstrating equivalent capability.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality UI/UX work across complex web and mobile products.
• Advanced proficiency inFigmaand modern design, wireframing, and prototyping tools.
• Strong understanding ofUX principles, interaction design, information architecture, responsive design, usability, accessibility, and user-centred design.
• Strong hands-on experience withuser research, usability testing, user testing, gathering feedback, analyzing findings, and translating findings into meaningful design improvements.
• Ability to plan and execute usability testing across wireframes, prototypes, and developed products.
• StrongBusiness Analysis and product thinking skills, with the ability to turn complex or ambiguous ideas into structured, practical, execution-ready product solutions.
• Ability to understand and documentuser roles, permissions, business rules, workflows, dependencies, happy paths, edge cases, exception scenarios, and end-to-end user journeys.
• Experience designingB2B SaaS or enterprise platforms is required.
• Experience working withmulti-tenant platforms, role-based access control (RBAC), multiple user types, dashboards, permissions, complex workflows, and interconnected product modulesis strongly preferred.
• Experience designing complex platforms where different users see different functionality, permissions, workflows, and experiences based on their roles or status.
• Strong analytical, research, critical-thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong ability to conductindependent R&D, competitor research, UX benchmarking, and product analysisand translate research into practical product improvements.
• A self-starter with a high level ofownership, creativity, curiosity, innovation, and initiative.You should be comfortable thinking independently and moving work forward without requiring detailed direction at every step.
• Ability to bring original ideas and solutions rather than simply reproducing existing designs or waiting for detailed instructions.
• Excellent visual design skills with a strong sense ofcolour and colour combinations, typography, spacing, hierarchy, layout, visual consistency, and modern design standards.
• Excellent English communication and writing skills, including the ability to communicate requirements, design decisions, research findings, and testing observations clearly.
• Experience working closely with developers and understanding front-end implementation constraints.
• Strong understanding ofUI/UX quality assurance and product testing, including the ability to review implemented features against designs, requirements, workflows, and expected user behaviour.
• Strong graphic design skills, including the ability to create professionalflyers, website graphics, banners, presentation materials, and digital marketing assets.
• Awareness and understanding of emergingAI technologies and AI-driven user experiences.
• Ability to think about how AI, automation, intelligent recommendations, and AI assistants can improve workflows and user experiences rather than treating AI simply as another interface element.
• Experience in EdTech is preferred.Experience with complex education technology platforms involving areas such as recruitment, admissions, verification, visa-related workflows, student engagement, or connected student lifecycle experiences would be an advantage.
