Job summary

Schneider Electric in India is seeking an experienced Product Owner with a strong electrical background to define roadmaps, analyze offers, and develop business cases for transfer switch products.

You will work with agile teams, gather customer insights, prioritize backlogs, and ensure successful product launches while collaborating with multiple stakeholders across the organization.

Qualifications

• Electrical background with understanding of electrical devices and specifications.
• Experience driving backlog with evolving technology.

• Knowledge of software development processes (waterfall, scrum).
• Proficient with Jira and Confluence or similar tools.

Mission:

Being part of Schneider Electric energy management R&D Center in India, you are responsible to provide more insights which will help business to the selling of Schneider Electric products/solutions and services.

Profile:

Expecting highly motivated and >7 years of experienced Product Owner with Electrical background and experience in handling different offers to join our agile development team. Expertise in roadmap definition, offer analysis, and business case development. Strong focus on collaborating with stakeholders to gather customer insights, define product requirements, and prioritize the product backlog. Committed to ensuring the successful launch and adoption of Transfer Switch products.

Responsibilities

• Define, update and validate the Applications/marketing requirement (in sync with companion Squads and Leagues guidelines/strategy) within backlog product prioritization.
• Build and prioritize the product backlog.
• Spend time with customers, targeted apps to identify value drivers/customer needs/pain points.
• Gather and analyze customer’s needs by meeting customers and collaborating regularly with business stakeholders.
• Remove impediments that prevent the team from delivering value.
• Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment.
• Maintain release planning and coordination with different Squads
• Facilitate communication and collaboration between the team and stakeholders.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders on project status, risks, and issues.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.

Knowledge and Skills – Required

• Should be able to understand the technical characteristics of the ‘electrical devices’.
• Should be able to drive backlog with the current technical evolution.
• Understanding of Electrical products and their specifications
• Should be able to map the technical characteristics, even when their measuring units differently mentioned.
• Knowledge on the software development process (like waterfall, scrum).
• Knowledge on tools like Jira and Confluence or a similar one.
• Strong work ethics with high level of self-motivation and communication skill
