Job summary

Alter Domus in Hyderabad is seeking a senior product leader to own the GP & client experience roadmap and align backlogs with client value and risk. You will shape client dashboards, reporting and the client portal, and define a unified view across funds and asset classes.

You will work with data and platform teams to ensure accurate, trustworthy information delivery, while applying an AI-native approach to PRDs, rapid prototyping and governance from day one.

Qualifications

• Proven senior product management experience delivering client-facing B2B software, portals or data/reporting products with measurable customer and commercial impact.
• Demonstrated ability to work AI-native — authoring structured, executable PRDs and building functional prototypes with AI tooling.
• Strong experience with dashboards, reporting and data-visualisation products, and a sharp instinct for information design and self-service experience.
• Excellent prioritisation, stakeholder-management and communication skills, with the ability to create clarity from ambiguity.

Your Responsibilities

Product strategy & roadmap

• Own the vision, strategy and roadmap for the GP & client experience — including the future roadmap well beyond the first use cases — and converge the platform toward its full product vision.
• Prioritise a single backlog against client value, commercial impact and key-client risk; make trade-offs visible and take decisions at pace.

The GP Experience

• Own the client operations centre (where clients monitor the progress of their tasks), the client dashboards and reporting experience, and the client portal — defining the journeys, information design and self-service capabilities.
• Define the single 'one-lens' view across funds and asset classes — bringing valuations, capital calls and distributions, portfolio monitoring, and fund and investor reporting into one coherent client experience.

Domain & data

• Understand how client-facing information — valuations, cash flows, positions and reporting — is produced across the fund-accounting, portfolio and reporting estate, and ensure it reaches clients as a single, trustworthy view.
• Work with data and platform teams to define what information the experience needs and where it is sourced, and manage the move from legacy portals so that no client is left behind.

Building AI-Native — How We Work

• Author Executable PRDs (xPRDs) — structured context repositories that combine natural-language intent, machine-actionable specification, complete business and technical context, edge cases, success metrics and acceptance criteria, and embedded governance guardrails.
• Build the first functional prototype yourself during ideation and discovery, using AI tooling to validate desirability (product-market fit with clients) and feasibility (with architects) in parallel — then hand a high-fidelity, context-rich prototype to engineering to curate and take to production quality.
• Own the non-functional requirements — performance, availability, scalability, security and accessibility — from day one, treating them as first-class product requirements rather than an afterthought.
• Work within an enhanced design-thinking approach with governance embedded from day one — ethical AI and user rights, privacy, security, risk and compliance, and audit/traceability — alongside explicit attention to data readiness (maturity, availability and quality).

Delivery & cross-functional

• Act as product lead across the relevant delivery teams; partner with technology and architecture on delivery, and with client-delivery and commercial teams on adoption and client engagement.

Essential

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Proven senior product management experience delivering client-facing B2B software, portals or data/reporting products with measurable customer and commercial impact.
• Demonstrated ability to work AI-native — authoring structured, executable PRDs and building functional prototypes with AI tooling.
• Strong experience with dashboards, reporting and data-visualisation products, and a sharp instinct for information design and self-service experience.

Desirable

• Domain experience in fund administration, asset servicing or alternatives (private equity, private credit, real assets).
• Familiarity with the fund-accounting, portfolio and reporting systems that produce client information (such as Investran, eFront, Yardi, Solvas and ReportPro).
• Experience in agile, multi-team delivery and large product platforms.
